8m Observers • Monday and Thursday are to be treated independently. • If there are more than 12 helms then observers are to be used. • Initial selection will be based on the sign up list for the days racing (first to sign up is first to observe). • Subsequent selection will be made starting with helms that did not observe the previous week. • Observers sail numbers to be noted on the bottom lines of the result sheet, they will be awarded average points for the race they miss. • It must be remembered that observers should only call starting errors and contact between boats. They should note down if penalty turns are not done after an incident and also note down if a boat passes the wrong side of a buoy or sails the wrong course. • The observer must not operate as “judge and jury”. • The observers are there to assist the race officer particularly at the start and finish of each race. • An observers observations may be used by the race officer to disqualify helms from a race where, for example, the correct course was not sailed.

I'm the primary developer for SweatyQuid, a freelancer market place business website after I have grown tired of Fiverr shutting my accounts and stealing my hard-earnt cash. I would certainly be grateful if somebody could give me some advice on my website: what is lacking and what aspects you would improve. Thanks very much guys!
